Hand harvested September 15th from vines planted in 1994 on the Black Sage Bench. Currently in the second year of organic transition, 3 Boys Vineyard has soil consisting primarily of sandy loam.
50% whole cluster and 50% destemmed into stainless steel tank. Once daily punchdowns for 24 days. Gently basket pressed, settled overnight and racked evenly into neutral barrels and concrete egg. Aged in neutral oak and concrete for 6 months. Racked once and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
