This vineyard is currently in organic transition. Our block of vines is planted on a gravel bar that runs through this mostly sandy soiled vineyard, giving the fruit a beautiful minerality.
Whole cluster basket pressed. Primary fermentation in mixture of new, 2nd and 3rd fill, and neutral French oak barrel. Full malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged in barrel for 10 months, then transferred to stainless steel for an additional 3 months before bottling.
